Haarlem

For my work as a train traffic controller I want to go outside to see the real situation as it is and answer questions like,
What has changed since my last visit?
Are there any new landmarks which could help determine a location?
Visibility of the signals?
Well, you can think of any question. As long as it helps you to "translate" the abstract lines you normally see on a computerscreen. Apart from that, you get a chance to take pictures you normally can't take.
Today I was in Haarlem (near Amsterdam).

Please note that the pictures were taken in areas that are closed for public. You can only access these areas if you have a railsection certification and wear the proper gear (and I don't mean the camera stuff)
I emphasize that you don't try to make similar pictures (same as "don't try this at home" which is dull, but we do get a lot of reports of people walking down the tracks, sometimes with lethal endings)
