Black & White

Long time since I posted something. Holiday, work, training, kids... Should do some more time management. But about the pics.
One of my favorite effects when shooting jpeg straight out of the box is Black and white High contrast. And on the evf of the Sony A77 you can see the effect instantly through the viewfinder.



Although this is easy to do with any photo editor, the creative process (or just plain fun of photography) is more stimulated once you look through the viewfinder. Downside is that the evf (which is pretty amazing) shows a lot of clipping in the highlights. Okay, what you see is what you get but you can misjudge a, what could have been, a beautiful picture because you see it in b&w already. So if you're not into that b&w and prefer post processing, stick to that.
